Sonic Comics will publish NeoPulps for readers seeking stories
with a beginning, middle and satisfying end. Our books will
have stories you don’t need an English lit class or secret
decoder ring to understand, but that still challenge, surprise,
and enlighten as they entertain. Sonic Comics will present illustrated
tales starring heroes of all kinds who triumph over every type
of evil, from simple combat to spiritual crisis. Our yarns will
stretch from the ancient past to the science fiction future—all
told with passion, humor, and originality.
Sonic Comics offers
the same mix that made pulps popular in the 30s: Art that’s
not artsy; fantasy grounded in truth; genuine emotions that
aren’t sappy; and enough spice to be hot without being
smarmy. Most of our titles will be suitable for all-ages—for
anyone who enjoys a ripping good read. Each Sonic book will
stand alone, not require readers to purchase an endless series.
There may be some multiple-part stories or sequels, but readers
won’t need to memorize complex continuities, nor will
the stories stumble on like literary zombies long after the
original premise has died.
Our goal
is to breathe new life into pop culture for the 21st Century.
